Working independently is a great way to learn, and we learn more effectively when we learn independently at our own pace. I can look at the processes scheduled for today in my timetable and understand that I should draw up a design and choose a preferred option today. Afterwards, I can conduct lab tests to check the feasibility of the solution and modify it.

However, there are still drawbacks to independent learning; even with a specific process, I sometimes still don't know what I am supposed to do. Sometimes when I was drawing a design, I suddenly lost my way and didn't know what I should draw again. I need to discuss with my tutor or classmates to get more inspiration. As a matter of fact, it is difficult for me to get more inspirations from just artist's research.
